Back in February 2008, I was part of a class with Jeff Sutherland to become a CSM (Certified Scrum Master). During that class, we found ourselves tasked with completing a series of 3 minute sprints and delivering the most value after 3 sprints. I’ve just started to read, “Imagining India”, from Nandan Nilekani. Since my first trip to India I’ve thoroughly embraced the many cultures of the land. I look forward to reading his ideas to help India be a thriving global power for centuries to come.

I think there are tremendous opportunities for the struggling US industries to learn from the innovative ideas coming from India. I believe IBM now has 70,000 employees in India suggesting that there is tremedous intellectual capital to be harnessed.
